For best performance, the sipper should be kept upright, as the vacuum seal works most effectively in this position. When hot water is poured inside, a stronger vacuum naturally forms. Due to this vacuum pressure, 1–2 drops of liquid may release if the bottle is turned upside down, which is completely normal and not a defect.
